Hey Alex,

I would love to get some more information on the property you have on K Ave. I actually work near there (behind USC baseball field) a couple days a week and my wife and I ride through that neighborhood quite often looking for property. We are just getting started on our real estate journey and learning as much as we can as we go. We are currently working on our first deal in our home town of St. Matthews. We are flipping a church in to SFH. If you could just tell me a little more about the house size, price, rental income, etc. I would appreciate it. Maybe we can work out a deal. If not, maybe we could work together on something in the future. Thanks.

Justin

Hey Miguel,

Sorry for taking so long to respond. The church we are buying is only about 1800 Sq ft so it sounds much smaller. It also has another building on the property (fellowship hall) which is about 2000 Sq ft. We close a week from Wednesday and we're getting both properties for 50K! We have had to use private loans to purchase. This is our first real estate deal. The plan is to convert both to SFH'S. As for your project...I wish I could help but as you can see our deals are in two different ball parks size wise and financially. Good luck with what ever you decide!!

Hello BP,

My wife and I have our first deal under contract. We purchased an old church and fellowship hall and we are turning both in to SFH's. We are very excited and scared at the same time. My question is should we have a corporation or LLC in place before we close? If so...which one?

the idea is to turn it in to a single family home and turn the fellowship hall in to a duplex.

Hello BP,

New member who still hasn't made first deal.  Came across a church property for sale today that could potentially be a good deal.  Don't have any numbers yet so will get to that later.  Just wondering if anyone has flipped a church before? It's 1800 sq ft and just a basic rectangular shaped building. Thanks for any input.

I actually may be interested down the road.  Maybe we can get together sometime and see what you got.

Hello BP!  New member in SC.  This journey in to real estate investing is totally new to me so I have a lot to learn.  I am confident that BP is the place to be though.  I look forward to learning from and  connecting with other members.  I am actively searching for my first deal.  Hopefully I can post about it in the near future!!!
