Can anyone refer me to a licensed general contractor in Wilmington, nc? The lender I'm working with is requiring that I have a licensed general contractor for the rehab I'm about to start.

I would consult a lawyer. Normally, as long as you had the intent to live as an owner occupant you are ok. Circumstances change and you shouldn't be liable. Definitely consult a lawyer though. I'm sorry you lost your job, good luck.

I just bought a property that doesn't have a driveway and is off of a main road. The property between the road and my house is owned by the city.  The past tenants have been parking in a vacant lot next to mine. The property was built in 1925 and is in a small coastal city. The property is currently landlocked. I want the city to pay for the driveway that is on their land, since my property is landlocked. They said that i can put one in, but they won't do it. Is there anything I can do about this? I feel like the city should pay for this since it is their property, not mine, and it blocks my property. It's only like 20feet. The city owns everything up to my front porch. The entire front yard is the city's.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone was able to refer a foundation contractor in Wilmington, NC. I just purchased a single family home that needs new footings and posts. Also, need to repair some rotted joists. Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

@Bob Anthes I am going to be calling around, I will let you know if i find anything of value. I believe Grant Cardone invests in St. Lucie, must be nice! What makes you choose Wilmington, NC over all of Florida?

What type of financing terms are BRRRR investors in Wilmington, NC getting? Are you able to get past the 6-month seasoning period for cash-out refi? Any problems with lenders only wanting to finance LTC instead of LTV?

@Jeremy Ferguson I did find a contractor that was referred through a friend.  I'm in need of help in Greensboro though.
