How do you choose a business name that people will remember?? I have seen lots of people use their last name but I have a last name that people have a hard time pronouncing and so I am not keen on using it in the name of my company. Where I want to go with my real estate business is to rehab high end homes as well as spec build high end homes as I love construction and I love seeing top notch work being done. So I want a business name that people will remember as well as made them think of high quality. I would love to get peoples thoughts and ideas on this. Thanks!

I am just getting started and I want to rehab homes. I am planning on getting my deals from a good wholesaler in the area, which I am currently looking for, but I have to figure out the financial side. I went to a presentation at a local real estate club and the option that seems best to me is to use a hard money lender but I have a little issue in that the lender who gave the presentation said that to get pre-qualified most all lenders require the last 2 years W-2 and tax returns. Now this is an issue for me because up until last year I did all my work under the table, don't tell Uncle Sam, so I only have 1 year of W-2 and tax returns. The solution that I thought of is to have a good friend of mine who is interested investing with me be the one who gets pre-approved for the hard money loan but I don't know if 1) will that work and 2) how I could structure/arrange that so that we can move forward with him as my financial partner? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Hey, my name is Justin and I am just getting started in real estate investing. I am looking to start rehabbing homes since my background is construction and it is something that I love but I don't want to be swinging a hammer. I am not looking to wholesale properties but do want to find a few good wholesalers to start working with to find my first deal. I am located northeast of Houston and so would ideally like to find a deal in the north/northeast portion of Houston. If anyone knows a few good wholesalers in the area please give me a shout. I look forward to connecting with the investors in the area and learning all that I can!
