I know of California Bathtub Refinishers in IB, but haven't personally used them.

So far the paths of progress I see is the redevelopment opportunities along the new trolley lines, and Mission Valley area, depending on what ends up happening to the stadium. I read an article last week that there is a lack of resident input on the stadium giving more power to private investors to take over all that land and develop it into more malls and residential living. This might be a great opportunity from an investor standpoint, but from the city and residents, it means that we are giving away millions in tax dollars to be profitable to private investors.  Basically, the city is urging residents to get involved in the decision process of the stadium land.

@Sandra Lee

@Brian P.

Any updates on the level of success in this overages business? I'm in California and wondering if this is worth while to add to my tool belt as an investor that wants to help out homeowners.

The reason I ask @mikefoley, is because a big investor and i are recognising that there are many people that bought underperforming properties from Equistream and cant bring them up. So we are looking into taking them off your hands in bulk.  What cities are your properties in?

@Mike Foley, do you still own any underperforming properties from Equistream?

Jenkins, great info. I'm also searching a map of Milwaukee neighborhoods by class types. Any idea where/who has it?

I'm glad you're a friendly realtor, perhaps you can help me evaluate the ARV on some? And if we decide to flip ourselves, we'll need a team on location.

Hi BP community.

A group of investors and I have come to realize that there is an opportunity in Milwaukee to buy properties that are REOs as well as from the city.

Option A: build a team and rehab from out of state, exit by selling to home buyers, and/or renting for 2-5 years.

Option B: do traditional wholesale assignment to other investors that will flip.

We will be doing all of this from California. My question is who has done these type of deals as out of state investors, and how was it?

TIA

Exactly the thread I was looking for! Thanks @Jorge Ruiz for asking these qs!

I've read @Rebecca Knox blogs, very helpful. I'm wondering can an out of state investor buy REO properties and use the city grands for rehab without the residency requirements?

TIA
