San Diego path of progress??
Path of progress is always an interesting perspective, whether from a general 30,000 ft view of a county, city or neighborhood. In my neighborhood or North Park, I bought it was I felt was the path of progress, the west end of El Cajon Boulevard. However from a big picture, north park might not really be the path of progress... How do you define path of progress, and where is it headed??

@Michael Conway Really interested to hear people's perspectives on this. From my limited experience/observation it takes a combination of city investment, new restaurant/retail, and incoming homeowners to turn a neighborhood around. In San Diego I'm betting on Golden Hill/Sherman Heights area to be the next up and coming, mostly because it has the existing property type (SFH) to support home ownership and has great proximity to popular/expensive areas. That is why I'm betting against City Heights to become the next North Park, lack of opportunity for single family home owners to come in and have a stake in making sure the neighborhood turns (it's mostly MF in that area). Santee and La Mesa are also undergoing a renaissance, and there again it seems the long term neighborhood improvement is driven by home owners who want to improve their neighborhood.
How's the Air BNB working out btw?
