Yeah - I need to check with my CPA....but they are a little hard to pin down now with tax season. Just thought maybe someone here has dealt with a similar situation. I am not seeking tax advice....just past experience. :-)

I'm considering getting into a deal with ifunding for a simple 6-month loan. I live in Ohio, the loan is for a project in CT. Will I be required to file a separate State return for CT on the interest I earn from the project? Of just my own State?

the fact that you can't find anything out about them screams scam to me. Not to mention that in order for them to apply for you, you'd have to give them your info and then you'd be wide open for identity theft. I'd run away fast as I can and make sure to keep checking your credit to make sure they don't try and steal your identity.

Agreed - sorry if I came off like I was telling you how or why it's done - I am more the sure you get it. Was just trying to convey to those who might not understand. It never ceases to amaze me how many people still fall for the tips and techniques - it's hard to believe that infomercials still exists but they do and people make a lot of money off them. It's a fascinating world. If anyone hasn't already, you should check out Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely or any of his books on the subject. Great reads

  • I've been a professional speaker for over 15 years and have seen all of the tactics, ploys, landing pages, and everything else you can do to help get people to buy your program. If you have ever studied sales you know of something called value statements- a statement that is supposed to increase the value in your eyes of what is being sold. Infomercials use them, car salespeople, gurus and thought-leaders are among the newest to capitalize using NLP and other sales ideas to help make their products more appealing. That's not to say they information isn't valuable - it might be worth the $1200 she's charging, that's for each person to decide on their own but just know that the "it's worth X but I'm offering it for Y" is all about raising the value in your eyes.

Anyone else using the app on IOS 7 and having problem with it crashing? I was almost to the newest updates on the "diary of a Rental" and it went down. It's been happening a little more lately and I just wondered if anyone else has seen problems with it. Ill try a re-install once I get to a wifi spot. It travel a lot now so the app has been great on keeping up.
