Hi guys. My name is JP. And yesterday i made a sudden impulse upon seeing a property undervalued and got it under contract. Only to realize it was not undervalued. I live in Texas..and i have a 7 day option period. And 3 days to give the fee. It is day 2 and i have one more day to give the fee. My question is if i havent paid the fee yet..can i still cancel the contract without questions asked. Also how do i go about cancelling. Just telling the agent i don't want it or..? Thank you so much in advance.

Good morning everyone, i am 20 years old and this will be my first home purchase. I have found a great deal that has been on the market for about two weeks which is a long time in my area(Fort Worth). I do have a real estate agent helping me look but this property is a for sale by owner. Rather than back away because I don't have the agent to hold my hand through the process i have to figure out how i can do this. If anyone can walk me through the process or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Juan.

I'm 20 years old and in the same boat..sorta. The only thing that scares me is all the paperwork..who takes care of that? My agent? I'm lucky enough to make 40k a year and still live with my parents though...hoping to buy a duplex soon! Wish you luck.

Hi. So i just turned 20 a couple of weeks ago and decided to quit spending my money on weekend outings and focus on saving for a real estate investment. I am not very educated in the field but i am doing what i can to learn more and more each day. I am a full time student as well as a full time employee. I work 50ish hours a week making 750 a week roughly. I still live at home with my parents with my expenses totaling to about 1,000$ which allows me to save the rest( roughly 2,000a month) Unfortunately i have just started saving last month and basically would like to know what would be the best type of housing to begin with? Would foreclosures be a good start? Do realtors tend to take advantage of people a lot? Especially considering my age. Whats the lowest down payment lenders normally look for? Also my credit score is sitting around 760 if that helps. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
