Are you looking for anything specific?

I've personally attended the Central Ohio Real Estate Entrepreneurs Association and Columbus Property Investors Association meetups before. If you go to https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/521-events-an... you can just put your zip code in and it'll bring up some information that should point you in the right direction. Hope that helps!

Hi @Beda Yang , it definitely sounds like you've got the drive to be successful in anything you put your mind to. If I can help with your venture in Columbus in any way please feel free to let me know. Also, if you would like to meet up for some coffee while you're in town or see some properties throughout the city, PM me and we can make arrangements. Best of luck to you!

John Zhao Brian is spot on regarding Columbus's SFR and multi-families. If you need a PM, an agent familiar with the area, or any questions at all about the Columbus market PM me. Depending on your criteria it can be a bit tricky to locate good investments due to the differences street to street being pretty significant in many places. But, there is definitely quite a bit of potential here.

Sorry about the double post. I'm not exactly sure how to delete it.

Hi @Jeremy Janszen , unfortunately the tasks you described are definitely best handled by a PM group. I'm not sure how familiar you are with the different PM brokers in Columbus. But, there are some that you absolutely want to avoid for various reasons. I'm sure you'll do your homework, but let me know if I can help in any way. Good luck!

Thanks a lot @Alexander Felice and @Jeffrey Hotz for your feedback! I'll definitely consider each suggestion. Establishing a rapport with other people has never been terribly difficult for me and even if I'm somewhat nervous, it doesn't typically turn into shambles. I just don't want to waste his time or mine and not have any direction on how I'm going to give and get value. So, thank you both very much for helping me out!

@Robert Ellis thanks a lot for taking the time to talk with me. I'm looking forward to finding out what we can offer each other!

I'm trying to make contacts with local real estate investors in Columbus, OH to try and start learning first hand. I have a meeting for some coffee tomorrow morning with one and I would like some help on gathering the right types of questions that I can ask him. He's already told me that he's willing to answer any questions that I would have. So, I want to make the most out of the short opportunity I'll have to get local market information and general direction on what I should do next to continue learning. Any help would be much appreciated!!

Thanks a lot for the encouragement. I'll definitely make it happen eventually. I just want to allow myself the time to learn and truly create a successful, full time business out of it, starting with my first house. I'm going to begin going to meetups around town to and start my networking right now.

Thanks very much to both of you!

Adam, I definitely have to make sure I don't do that. I was up until about 2am last night doing research and found that I'm going to need my license in order to legally make these transactions. Which will put it off for a little bit. But, it seems that getting my license will provide me with some very helpful tools.

Thanks again for your advice,

Jesse
