Hello my name is James Sotipalalit. I'm new to real estate and I would love some advice from some professionals. Now my question is do you suggest a newbie in real estate go get licensed to be an agent when starting out? Please leave all feedback and god bless.

Welcome to the community! BP has a tremendous amount of information to help you, but it is only available if you seek it out. Be sure to be as active and engaging as possible. Read blogs, post questions, and the podcasts are gold! The best free education you can get. Good luck!

Jon thanks for that I've already listened to a couple podcasts and read a couple blogs. How long have you been in real estate?

Not yet, the plan is to acquire a portfolio of properties that will be managed in house. By the time that happens, I'll have all the designations, credentials and hopefully financial backing I need to open my own company. Though I'm not sure I'll open it to third party contracts, some people are a royal PITA. LOL

Marc I know aslong as you focus and put my your mind to it you will make it good luck with your business and life.

Hello my name is James Sotipalalit. I am from around the Maryland area and have been interested in real estate investing for a little while now. I'm on this website looking to build connections and to gain wisdom from experienced investors. So hopefully we can all get connected together and prosper in wealth together. God bless.

Kyle,

Thanks for the advice I am actually looking to be a buy and hold type of investor to create cash flow. But as a rookie do you recommend starting out as a wholesaler? I'm a little confused on what would be the first step I always thought wholesaling but I wanted other peoples point of view and their past experiences on how they started. Once again thanks for the advice Kyle.

Hello my name is James Sotipalalit I currently flip cars for a living and want to become involved with real estate investing. I've always been interested for a couple years now but don't know where to start. I heard Sean Terry is pretty good can someone please let me know if it is worth investing in that program, or recommend me any program for beginners. I have a family and want to make great money for their lives to be better.

Sincerily,

James
