Congratulations on your success Ana. I also like how you acknowledged every one who helped you along the way. Sounds like you have good network of good people.

@George

Thank you for the acknowledgement. Have you had a chance to visit HI?

@Joe Sillaman

Thanks for the introduction and offering to help. I am not opposed to using hard money in the beginning, I have to start somewhere.

@Brandon Turner

Thank you for the introduction as well. BP is such a great site, your and Josh's efforts are truly admirable.

Thanks Johnny. I love the Kailua area, none of the Honolulu congestion, and wonderful scenery and beaches. Those are pretty much my goals as well. Do you still do construction during the summer? I did a few Habitat for Humanity projects and it is interesting to help/see build a house from the ground up.

I am former USAF.

Welcome to Bigger Pockets!

Ha! Small world. USAF as well, currently E-5, Finance AFSC. What was your AFSC? Were you enlisted or officer? It truly is opportune to be stationed here and I am very grateful for the experience. Thanks for the introduction and YOUR service as well. Lastly thank you for starting a group in Chicago, and congrats on the news story that was pretty freaking awesome.

Thank you for the welcome nice to meet you Brianna. What part of Chicago are your buildings on? When I return to Chicago I want to work the NW & SW suburbs like Bolingbrook and Tinley Park. I see you have been investing for since 2011, if you don't mind how did you get started?

Greetings BP. My name is Justin and I am currently living/stationed in Honolulu, but will be returning to Chicago in a little over a year and a half. As far as experience I have attend/ed (work permitting) local REIA meetings, a Guru's weekend seminar (it was actually good, really good until they tried to sale us the $25K mentor package), read a few books, and podcasts. My current goal is to #1 GET STARTED; build cash through residential wholesaling, then transition to rehabbing. From there I would like to either move into buy and hold or commercial. Thank you for your time. Peace and Blessings BP.
