Hello everybody, I have a unique opportunity to pick the location of where I'll be doing my reserve duty in the next year. I currently reside in the Savannah, Ga area, however, I'm wanting to get feedback on areas that provide great investment opportunities in the Georgia/Florida area. My main strategy is multi-family, buy and hold investing. I'm willing to travel up to 400 miles. What are your thoughts?

Ramon Purifoy I appreciate the input and I’m definitely aware of the struggles of getting a loan once I leave active duty. I have a year to hopefully get another loan or two and then it will be all about creative financing until I’m able to convince the banks they don’t need to worry about me. I’ve already developed a solid relationship with one bank and I’m getting the necessary feedback on what I need to start doing now to not struggle to get a loan when I get out.

Hello everybody, I couldn't make it to the last meeting, but I'm looking forward to the next. Any plans for one in the near future? I'm leaving active duty military in one year from now so that's going to free me up a lot for real estate investing! Can't wait!

Hello everybody! So, We’ve made the decision to leave active duty and pursue real estate investing full time! I’ll be getting out one year from now. I just got my real estate sales license to help with networking and hopefully find more deals. We are so excited to see what the future holds. If anybody is looking for a partner or some boots on the ground to find deals in the Savannah, Georgia area, let me know. If everything goes as planned, I’ll be closing on my first quadplex at the end of the month. Thanks again for all the feedback and I plan on getting a lot more involved with Bigger Pockets and maybe even starting a meet up group in the Savannah area!
