New to REI in Columbus, Ohio

Hello BP. My name is Josh Hively. I am just starting my journey into real estate investing. Although I have always been interested, I have very little experience in real estate. I have done some minor residential handyman work over the years, but have worked in commercial facilities maintenance for the past 10 years. Originally from South Carolina, I currently live in Columbus Ohio. My current goals are to build passive income by entering REI by multi-family house hacking and acquiring a handful of buy and hold properties over the coming years. Over the past few months I have been working my way through the BP podcasts and learning about all of the different investment strategies. I am now beginning to start building connections with local investors, agents, contractors and such. I am very much looking forward to being a member of the BP community, learning from all of you, and one day hopefully contribute back to the BP.
