Awesome, that was very helpful. I have flipped one house and was successful. I've been learning and researching for over a year and feel somewhat confident. Just wanted to hear from some experienced people. Thanks!

House for sale in Fayetteville, NC! This is a really cute 4 beds/ 1.5 baths, all-brick with a fenced in yard. This house is close to Fort Bragg and move-in ready with new carpet and fresh paint throughout the house.  House rents out very easily and would be a nice addition to anyone's portfolio or first-time buyer. House is on lockbox.

House for sale in Fayetteville! This is a really cute 4 beds/ 1.5 baths with garage and fenced in yard. This house is close to Fort Bragg and move-in ready with nothing major needed to be done, just some cleaning and disposing of some garbage. The house has a very nice layout and flows well with hardwood floors throughout most of the house. House rents out very easily and would be a nice addition to anyone's portfolio. House is on lockbox and I have more pictures upon request

I found a property that's a short-sale. Is it possible to write-up a contract with the bank and wholesale it to a cash-buyer? If so, what's the process?

Thanks much!

Josh

Hello everyone,

I'm Josh Barker and relatively new to the Real Estate world. I've been reading books, researching, doing online training (through mentorship program) since July 2016.

I'm currently  doing my first flip on a single family home and just about to put it on the market. I'm focused on doing "fix and flips" and "wholesaling" right now since my full time job is being in the Army but will eventually branch out once we move to a place (3-5 years) to settle down with rentals and long term investments. After 12 years, I'm looking to get out soon due to medical reasons. My wife is a Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams so that means we'll be hitting it from both sides.

I love Real Estate and really excited to get this momentum started. Any and all advice is welcomed. I love learning and catch on quickly.

Looking forward to speaking with you all,

Josh
