Hey guys, would it be a good or bad idea to borrow from a retirement account to start my business? I'm interested in buy n hold, fix n flip and wholesaling. Thanks

@Joshua Barker

It depends on your risk tolerance, experience and drive.

You don't need that much $ to set up wholesaling. But you do need reserves for buy n hold and flips. (despite all the no money strategy out there, you need to have some cushion when things go wrong)

If lack of capital is an issue, utilize more of the creative financing (e.g. seller financing, sub 2, JV etc) first, and use your funds as a reserve.
