@Joshua Nelson...I am in a similar boat as you.  So in order to help each other, I am kicking off a virtual (online) meet-up for Jacksonville Real Estate investors starting Jan 14th. It will be every Monday from 12-1pm & its designed to accommodate busy professionals (with day time jobs).

It will be via Webex, so you can join from any online connection or just by audio conference only. Come if you can....but dont sweat it if you are busy that week.

There is no cost & no obligation....This group is intended to be a brown bag (lunch) sharing session for those interested in Jacksonville, FL investments. @Robert Peeples....great question.  I am asking the same thing myself.  These days I seem to have an equal amount of Questions & Answers.

Great....you can join Webex from anything....even an old school rotary phone on audio only.  If you join from a PC/MAC you just need an internet connection.  If you join from a smart phone you will just need to download the app (it will prompt you the first time you join so you may want to come in a few mins early).

Totally understand you all wont be able to join every week, and may even drop out if you dont see long term value.  I would love to create some value for everyone, but realize that probably wont happen given the fact we all have different goals.

I would like to start next week on Monday (even if we dont have many people join), so you should see an invite hit your calendar soon.

OK, now that the holidays have ended, I would like to resurface this idea.  My original goal was to set up a small group of existing professionals that have day jobs in order to network and leverage each others knowledge, experience, skills, references, etc....

I realize now that there is no such time that works for everyone during the day (which is probably why most of these groups meet at night - and that just does not work for me).  

So my thought was to start initially as a virtual group.  In my day job....I am responsible for Webex Sales, so I can provide the technology to join a virtual meeting leveraging a Web/Audio/Video connection.  We can network a little, share our goals, discuss our challenges and help encourage each other to accomplish more.

My thought is to focus the group on current professionals that have day jobs looking to buy/sell/rent Real Estate here in Jacksonville.  My thought is to do it during the lunch hour (12-1pm) on Mondays (but I am open to another day/time if we must).  Join if you can each week with your questions, concerns, fears, challenges, successes and we can all accomplish more as a community.

@Ashley Lewis, OK last update.  I was able to download all 3 of them no problem now now.  After upgrading iTunes I was able to upload them to iTunes and then import them into my phone so I can now take them on the road with me.  

Try to do that, and if you have trouble reach out to me and I can do it for you.  I should be able to download them, put them in as shared cloud folder where you can either stream them, or import them directly into itunes & then on to your iPad.  Too many steps in my opinion.  BP should just allow you to stream them directly from the app/site.

@Ashley Lewis, I was able to download 2 of the 3 books I ordered, but they are raw files on my laptop (which I am not carrying around with me).  I agree, putting them on my phone or iPad would make much more sense.  I was able to upload them into iTunes and can stream iTunes on my iPhone or could import them as MP4 audio files.  If you can get someone with a laptop to download them and store them somewhere you can stream them, that will probably work.
