@Drew Sygit yes, that's exactly my thought but I was not sure if it was best to present this to a general contractor or for instance to get a quote from different professionals(HVAC professional, electrician, etc) depending on what some of the bigger issues the inspection report has.

@Tanner Sherman yes, I am working with an agent. He went through the list and we talked about the repairs that looked more costly and he worked through the pricing to see how much the repairs would cost BUT we have not talked to a contractor yet

Hello everyone! I wanted to see what the next step is after you receive the full inspection report on a property while in escrow. Will you present this report to a general contractor to look over it and give you a quote of the important things that need fixing? I'd like to get an estimate to be able to negotiate with the seller. Thank you!

@Curt Smith is this insurance(nreig) typically a little pricier? I will take a look at this one as well though. Thank you!

@David A. thank you for the information! I do have a quote from SafeCo so I will definitely keep this in mind.

@Jason Bott was is the difference an independent agent and a broker?

@Tim Grich thank you for sharing and providing the contact number! I will reach out and will also mention your name. Thank you!

@Chris Mason thank you for the information! I will look around and check for a local insurance broker.

Hello everyone! I needed some help in finding and comparing landlord insurance for a property I have in escrow. Any recommendations on companies you have used or currently use with decent pricing would be helpful! Thank you!
