Hello all, I would love to connect with wholesalers in Anchorage, Alaska. I am looking to grow my knowledge base and expand my network. Let me know if you are a wholesaler or know someone who wholesales regularly, I'd love to buy them a cup of coffee!

Hello everyone! My name is Joe and I am looking for realtors. I am looking to invest in the Orlando/Central Florida area. This will be my first investment. I am looking for either a 3 or 4 plex that I can do a FHA loan on to house hack my way to a second investment. My current budget is $28,000, and am looking for something I could fix up a bit to force appreciation. If you would like to connect you can email me at josephjohnsak@outlook.com or pm here. I look forward to doing some deals with you!

-Joe

Hi guys, newbie here. My investment plan was to buy my first property in Orlando Florida to house hack for more capital. With the recent hurricanes affecting both Texas and Florida I was wondering what the smartest move would be for my investment plan. I am sincerely sorry for all the hard situations people are going through right now, and would like to know if it would be smarter to invest elsewhere? Should I now be looking for the damaged properties to flip? Should I continued as planned? As insensitive as it sounds what is going to give me the highest return from the current situations?

If I am moving to a new market (Orlando, Florida), how long would it take to "know" the market. I guess I'm wondering about others people's success/struggles with learning a new market and any advise you might have.
@Christopher Phillips I'm talking about the total value assessments done by the county every fiscal year.
Currently I am looking at multi-family properties (4 units and under) in the Orlando area, and I'm seeing a lot of properties being sold for a lot more than they were appraised for the previous year (currently looking on realtor, and zulia). Are these properties examples of other investors having done a BRRRR or Flip on them? Or did I just start looking at a bad time?

Post: To move to a cheaper market, or invest now?

I am currently living in a market that is pretty high in cost of living (Anchorage, Alaska). I am also a newbie that just picked up a second full time job so I can raise some savings for a possible move. My question is, would it be worth it to use the savings from this job to move to a cheaper market (Orlando, Florida [which is also where my family lives]), or to use that money to move on a real estate investment sooner, such as a flip? My goal is to invest more in small multi family's for passive income in the future.
