Hello everyone!

I was just recently laid off at a job I had with a company for a little over a year.  I am turning 24 in March and am thinking that now is the best time to apply action and get into Real Estate full time.  Does anyone have any advice as the first steps to do so?  I am looking to get my RE License and begin to work and save more money before I begin investing.  I am just curious as to what people think the best way to get into the industry is.

I have received the same feedback @Eric DeVito - it is people like us who can make the biggest changes I feel like.  I am just starting out too - would love to connect at some point! 

@Tayo Dare Currently I own 0 properties but have been studying the area for over a year now and have been saving for my first deal.  There are lots of places in Bergen County that are < $100,000 that you can fix and flip relatively quick.  But don't just look for the quick buck - this is a long game and to be sustainable you want to take your time with first deal especially in an area like Bergen County where you can graduate to more upscale neighborhoods too.
