@Bjorn Ahlblad thank you for your input. What I mean by "prepare" is trying to get the right people involved and learn anything ahead of time that may help me as I go through this process for the first time.

Hello Everyone, 

I just signed my first contract for a three unit and have started to prepare for the inspection. I have lined up a electrician and a contractor to walk through the property. How do you prepare for inspecting a new property to make sure there are no deal breaking problems?
