Hello everyone! I hope you’re doing great! My question is about renter’s insurance.

Is it a must for you? Do you make all your residents carry it? What are some advantages and/or setbacks involved in it? Thanks everyone in advance!

Hello everyone! Hope everyone’s doing great. Let’s talk about tenants and problem-solving systems.

What’s the worst tenant(s) you have ever had? What did he/she do? How did you solve the problem? What changes or additions did you make to your landlording system? Thank you in advance for your stories!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone’s doing well. My newbie question is the following:

Let’s say you own a triplex, you live in a unit and rent the other two out. Are you (the landlord) paying for electricity, water, WiFi, and such for every unit? Or do you have a contract that specifies what the tenant pays and what you provide? Is there a way to track how much each unit consumes each month? Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing good and staying safe through this tough period. My question is about financing properties; how many units do you finance at the same time? How much are you willing to go in debt/mortgage before paying off your unit(s)? What’s your favorite method to finance a rental unit? Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone! My name’s Jose and I’m basically new to the real estate investing world. I’m starting educating myself by reading books, watching videos, blogs, articles, etc. Sometimes I get scared because investing in real estate sounds like a huge investment due to the fact that we’re talking about a considerable amount of money. Did that happen to anyone else while starting out? How did you get pass the fear of putting (for example) $20,000 down and being $80,000 on debt?

Thanks!
