Hi all. I am from the NY/NJ area looking to invest in buy and hold properties in other markets. Trying to focus on small multi families. I am intrigued by the North Carolina market, particularly Charlotte.  I am thinking this market will give me a decent cash flow while appreciating within the next 5-7 years.  Right now I am just looking for advice and knowledge of the area. But I am ready to pull the trigger on a deal so if anyone out there can help, I would really appreciate it.

Hey everyone.  I am a new real estate agent and have invested in Property Shark.  I hear this is a necessary tool in the business.  I really like all the info it provides for me.  But I feel that I am not taking full advantage of the site.  I would love to hear some success stories and ways to utilize the site to grow my pipeline and help generate leads.  Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Absolutely.  Definitely plan to.  At the moment it seems the best thing for me to do is to continue to talk to people for advice and information.  Not really sold on any particular market either.  Really trying to pick people's brains and learn.  And maybe put my focus on 2 or 3 that make the most sense.

I would prefer to add a little money into a rehab property.  But I am not opposed to turn key either, for the right price of course.

I'd like to avoid the section 8 tenants if possible. I am hearing that the Fox Park or Tower Grove Park area is where I want to be. But I am looking at multi families in that area and the ROI does not look to be that strong. Might make sense to invest in single families.

I am looking to use the BRRRR methods with this so I am not looking for that high of an ROI. What do you think?

Hi all.  I am from the NY/NJ area looking to invest in buy and hold properties in other markets.  Trying to focus on small multi families.  I am intrigued by the midwest as I have heard that is where I can get the best bang for my buck.  I have been speaking to other people on bigger pockets and right now have gotten some information about St. Louis.  Really just looking for help and advice.  But I am ready to pull the trigger on a deal so if anyone out there can help, I would really appreciate it.

Hi Chris.  I am living in Queens, NY and am looking to buy my 2nd rental property.  My first is in northern NJ but with the price increases in my current area I was considering Suffolk county.  Do you buy single family homes or multi family?  Also, what areas of Long Island have you found success?

I am new to bigger pockets and to real estate investing. I live in NYC and bought my first rental property a little over 2 years ago in northern NJ. It is a 2 family home generating a little over 10% ROI over these last 2 1/2 years. I am pretty pleased with everything so far and I am ready for my next property. I am familiar with the BRRRR strategy but I would prefer to get out of the NY/NJ area and focus on long distance investing. I am curious to hear of some other success stories and would like some suggestions as to what markets/areas work. I am thinking that focusing on single family homes might be best for me since I am looking to buy properties in the $100k range and add around $50k of renovations. Any and all advice/suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
