Hi all.  I am from the NY/NJ area looking to invest in buy and hold properties in other markets.  Trying to focus on small multi families.  I am intrigued by the midwest as I have heard that is where I can get the best bang for my buck.  I have been speaking to other people on bigger pockets and right now have gotten some information about St. Louis.  Really just looking for help and advice.  But I am ready to pull the trigger on a deal so if anyone out there can help, I would really appreciate it.

@Jordan Schwartz I think that you need to visit St. Louis and see the lay of the land. ROI measures things but you need to understand the tangibles, where ever you decide to plunk your money.
