That is of course just properties flipped that used the MLS as a lead source - most investors I know hold onto their properties in Killeen as rentals. Buy and hold is actually very popular.

I don't know how it compares to other markets, but I think it is an area with just as much opportunity as elsewhere.  The uni-employer nature of the area is always something that should be accounted for, but not one that worries me personally in the slightest.  It's the largest American military post in the world, and that won't be changing in the next generation or two.

Are these foreclosed properties or are they distressed properties off the mls ? Haven't heard from you in a little while Brian!

vacancy rate is not to high but you move alot of tenants in and out. Iv looked into this area myself and I'm alot closer than you are . The market has way to many fluctuations because of the military. The city is over saturated with houses. You can make money in that area but in my opinion it would not be good for buy and hold. You would have to buy it right and sell it at the right time . Just my 2 cents . Good luck

if I'm not mistaken I think you would have to sell all the properties as a package deal also

I have heard of this going on in my area as well.

Looking to have a company logo made for me. Where are some recommended places for a good price ?

short sale would be the best option. Are you trying to buy it?
