@Caleb Heimsoth Yeah I heard about that but could not find the exact law for the Wilmington area. I only put them in places where other signs were present. Lets hope the other people knew what they were doing!

@Will Parker Oh I understand. Yeah I am mainly going to be door knocking because it seems to be the cheapest option starting out. Im currently a full time college student so my budget is very limited. Id love to get the lists but they seem to be a little pricy. - Jonathan

@Will Parker Mr. Parker, Awesome! I would love to learn from your success and experiences as well! Have not gotten to my first door knock yet. I am waiting on business cards i can leave with the owners! Hoping to get started by this weekend! Are pre-forclosures a good place to start? - Jonathan

Greetings everyone!

I am finally getting my marketing campaign for wholesaling in Wilmington up and running. I've put out around 50 bandit signs so far and will continuously add to them. Unfortunately I've yet to receive any interest so I have decided to explore other options. I have a couple of questions I hope one of you could help answer for me. The first of which is concerned with driving for dollars. Once I find a distressed property, what is the best way to get in contact with these owners? Secondly, what thoughts do you have on door knocking to ask if people are willing to sell their house. If it's a good idea, any pointers you may have for someone who has never door knocked?

Thank you all and I look forward to reading your responses!

Good afternoon fellow Real Estate Investors!

My name is Jonathan Abbott and I am a 3rd year college student at UNCW in Wilmington, NC looking to get a head start on my career. A friend and myself were wondering what the best way to get into real estate investing was with little money. We have looked into wholesaling and so far this seems to be the best option for us at the moment. If you have any tips or experience in the Wilmington, NC area I would love to hear what you have to say! Also would love to hear any other ideas of ways we can get into the business.

Thank you! Looking forward to reading your responses!
