I'm about to make a move to the Austin Metroplex and was interested in renting out my current house to corporate leasing programs or group home and sober living.  Does anyone here have any information regarding who to contact that has experience in this area?  Zip code would be 76244.

Thanks for the insight Richard.

Would I still be responsible for the line if it was a burst in the COMMON AREA?  This happened in the common hallway leading to all the entry door for the residents.  The water burst right by my unit and went inside through my door.  It ruined all the flooring we just did and I'm sure more.

Hi!

I'm currently 2 weeks away from finishing renovation and just got a call from my contractor stating that the common area of my unit had a pipe burst that leaked into my unit and ruined the entire flooring! To make it worse, it appears it may have been sewage water that got it. It's my understanding that this would be filed under the HOA insurance, but I'm curious if this would cover loss of rent, labor associated with renovation, or anything else I can get to recoup work already done. I'm hoping to stay on budget and not have to come out even more for HOA issues.

Thank you @Kevin Sobilo .  I'm looking at my local zoning and it's stating 2F (2 Family).  I wonder how hard it would be to request a change into a Multi Family, since I also have an renovated 3rd floor with a separate entrance.

I've been trying to research this, but haven't been able to find any articles or post regarding it. I know Lakewood was considering this an option, but does anyone know if ADU's are allowed in Cleveland? I currently have a 3.5 car garage space that I'm looking to convert if possible.

Looking at BRRR for either Multi or SFH. I'm in the process of pulling a HELOC on my primary and I would also be able to borrow from my 401k. That would leave me around $170k to play with.

Hey BP Family!

I recently moved from Orange County to the DFW area for my 9-5 job 3 years ago.  Was finally able to purchase a home and now looking to do some RE investing.  Looking forward to connect with members also doesn't mind taking on a mentee with a RE license in the DFW area.
