Quote from @Allison Levine:

Hi Joe

I’ll read the article. Always some for it, some against it. Personally I live close by and I am all for it.

I'm an accidental landlord, and have the resources to build my portfolio, just trying to learn and figure it all out. My thought here is STR maybe townhomes/condos if STR is allowed in the complex.

I’m not a football fan but I know football fans, they are passionate and very involved and connected to their teams. This facility is going to be a fan attraction. Hence I see fans coming in for short stays. We only have a few hotels in the area.

Seemingly most neighbors are for these type of facilities.

You could definitely go the condo/townhome route if the HOA will allow. Not sure if those properties are closer to the facility, which would be ideal of course.

inflation is always going to push values “up”, it’s just more about your strategy and goals for the property.

I can't see why this won't push values higher, the area is already well-established. I know a good amount of people that STR their homes in Woodland Hills, so this would be an added incentive. Here's an article about how this affected Oxnard, not specifically RE prices, more about how the community reacted: https://www.dallasnews.com/sports/cowboys/2022/08/08/million...

Quote from @Samuel Diouf:

Hey Daniel, Columbus, Ohio could be a market to deploy your money if you're leaning towards appreciation. Multiple, billion dollar companies are investing heavy in our area, such as Intel, Google, and Amazon. Which in turn will bring plenty of other investors and general business to the area. I moved here from Florida after seeing the projected growth.

Have to agree here, just spoke to a Columbus native yesterday that said this exact same thing. @Samuel Diouf what is the protocol for inheriting tenants and trying to get them out? In Los Angeles it can be a real nightmare.

A good friend of mine vacations in that area a lot, but I've never been there. PM me if you want to jump on a call. I have done a good amount of research on investing in the Country, if I can be of any help.

Haven't done it yet, but it's next on my list. Which part of Italy?
