I'm from the Pittsburgh area, just started investing a year ago. I'd love to be involved.

@Jairo Zapata

You are surprised the government wants to control our business? The liberals want to control our lives.

We’re too stupid to know what is good for us! Try to buy a big gulp in a blue state!

I am also in the very early exploratory phase of note investing through a SDIRA. I love what I'm seeing so far but feel like I need a lot more education.

I appreciate all the advice on BP. Anyone have a suggestion on some affordable education?

Funny how this is coming from the most liberal cities/states in the country.

Maybe it’s time for a change of leadership/ideas

Thanks Greg, I’ll have to look in to that. I’m not sure what the penalty would be for pulling the money out before I’m eligible, which will be in about 5 years.

I bought my first buy and hold SFR with a SDIRA and would like some feedback and advice on going forward.

I purchased the property for 33.5K and put 24K in to the rehab. The ARV is around 100K. Cash flow should be between 400-450 per month. Now I just need to get it rented.

I'm looking for advice/suggestions on how to scale over the next 5-10 years. I have another 40K to invest. My current thought process is to hold the first rental and then start to look for my second property. Since I'm doing this within a SDIRA, leverage doesn't seem like a very viable option with the Non Recourse loan stipulation.

I just bought my first buy and hold SFH about a month ago. After all the reading and webinars, nothing has been a better learning experience than doing it! It isn't easy, but it is very doable if you want it.
