Does anyone have any actual data to evaluate that might predict this?  Anyone hear of an inverted yield curve?  I've heard that is the best historical predictor?

@Patrick McGowen This has been a bit since you initially posted this.  Where do you see the market now?

Is investing in a syndication risky if the market changes?  I don't want to invest money for years in an apartment deal if there is a chance the market could change and leave the syndicator broke.  Any suggestions on this?

Bought 2 properties within the past year through them.  Overall pretty happy.  One home is completely hands off and works like clockwork.  The other did have a tenant turnover, but I think management did a fair job of finding a new tenant in a reasonable time.  Likely will buy another this year.

What does an inverted yield curve mean? Impending Recession?   Any other signs recession/correction is coming?

Any opinions on where to put some funds if I'm concerned about upcoming recession/correction.  Anywhere with low risk of returns in the 4%-6% range or above?

@Jose Gonzalez

I've found working with an agent that is also an investor is very helpful.  That is always my first question to any of them.  Nice job finally getting started though!  Better now than never!

Bought two homes with them about 8 months ago.  One perfectly fine with no maintenance calls.  Just had the tenant vacate in the other one, but the mgnt team did a good job of finding another tenant in a few weeks.  Overall satisfied, looking to probably buy another one this year with them if I can make it happen.
