Post: House Hacking Las Vegas

Hi everyone,

Hope this finds you all safe.

I am starting my journey real estate investing journey through house hacking. I have come across many different properties and I may have found one that I like at a decent price that works for my budget. With that said, I would want to house hack and rent by the room.

What do you think of this during this time?

Are there any property managers here in Las Vegas that rent by the room?

Should I discontinue my search and wait for more capital to invest 20% for a true investment property?

I would love to hear out all opinions.

Thanks

@Jordan Lucas

I agree with a lot of people here in this chat. Especially using SMART goals!

There is no limit to what you can do! It’s all about your attitude, determination and financial education.

Shoot for the stars! At least if you fall short, you land in the clouds.

Best of luck!

@Brad Bellstedt

This was a great read. You’re right, there are people still being buying during this time. Could lead to more deals coming up in the near future.

@Michael H.

Josh is always mentioning Detroit haha

@Tom Scott

This is great advice. I am beginning my investing career now. I have the same thought process with having the most leverage. Buyers have the control right now. Everyone says the next 6-8 months are unknown but I believe that’s in everyday life. No one knows the future.

@Michael Fitts

Thank you for such a great post. I am looking to use this strategy. House hacking has been my approach... Purchase a small multi family property and rent out the other units.

Happy Easter! I’m just getting started.

I am thoroughly enjoying learning about these so called “low ball” offers.

What are key indicators that sellers are willing to accept low ball offers?
