@Andrew Kiel

Thank you for the suggestion, Andrew. I appreciate the input. We do have Stewart Title in our area, and I'll reach out to them to explore their account servicing options for seller financing. It's great to hear that they've been useful for your needs in Arizona.

Thanks again!

I am currently reviewing an offer from a buyer to offer seller financing as the owner/seller of a property have paid free and clear. I would like to bring in a mortgage servicing company to manage the payments. Has anyone worked with a mortgage servicer that is seller financing friendly and will take on one loan for a new client like myself? Thanks everyone!

Hey @Jonathan Klemm,

Thanks for your interest! TI stands for Tenant Improvement. It involves customizing commercial rental spaces to suit the specific needs and requirements of a tenant. This can range from minor modifications to more extensive build-outs, depending on the nature of the tenant's business and the agreement with the landlord. In spaces like offices, retail establishments, or other commercial areas, TI work ensures that the space is tailored to the business's operational needs.

I'm looking forward to a meet-up in Chicago as well. It's always enriching to exchange knowledge and insights with fellow professionals in the field.

Best, Jim Vani

Hi @Jonathan Klemm Thanks for sharing your perspective on mentorship. I'm with you on that. Too bad we wont cross paths at BPCon2023 but hope your Atlanta trip goes fantastic. While my primary focus has shifted to the lending side, I'm still involved in construction, specifically TI work and for real estate clients/partnerships. Given that we're both in Chicago and have overlapping interests, it would be great to connect. I'm impressed by what I've seen from Quality Builders. I'll send you an inbox message soon to discuss a potential meetup. Looking forward to it!

Hey @Jonathan Klemm

Thanks for sharing your insights on @Andrew Holmes and the value he provides through Chicago REIA. It's always encouraging to hear positive feedback from someone who personally knows the individual in question.

Your point about the 3-day event vs. Mastery is well taken. Everyone has a different learning style and pace, and it's good to know that Andrew offers multiple avenues for engagement. Mastery seems like an invaluable resource for those looking to dive deep and benefit from personalized guidance.

I couldn't agree more about the importance of networking. The opportunity to connect with other Chicago-based investors is valuable in itself. The knowledge and experiences shared within a like-minded community can often prove just as enriching as formal coaching.

Are you going to BPCon2023 by chance?

Best regards, Jim Vani

Hello Everyone,

My partner and I recently acquired a mixed use 5 unit building as our first venture together. First floor is commercial space with 2 - 1bed/1bath and 2 - 2bed/1bath apts above. We are considering managing the building with some technology such as https://www.apartments.com/ren... or https://www.zillow.com/rental-...

Any thoughts/feedback from the above or other technology to assist the landlord?

Thank you!

He is very knowledgeable and trains Real Estate Brokers how to properly use the new Real Estate Contract. His firm is staffed to handle transactions all throughout the Chicago and the surrounding burbs. Let him know I referred you. I will inbox you his contact info

@Jonathan Klemm - We travel nationwide for Commercial projects, while for Residential we stay in the Chicago market. Residentially we've been north of 290 in Chicago and have stretched out into the burbs. North up to Highland Park, west to Lombard and south down to New Lenox. We work on single and multifamily along with some mixed use properties. Appreciate the networking group recommendations. I will definitely check them out! What type of properties to do you rehab?

@Mike B. - I've been keeping tabs on my local market and have seen some good opportunities. I've also assisted clients in rehabbing as their GC which has given me the itch to get back into the space on a personal level. Looking to network and build or join a solid team to BRRRR and/or Flip with. Being new to BP I thought to put the feelers out here and see what would come from it. I see you have helped others with your services. Are you currently rehabbing or assisting others in the process?
