I'd probably have them topped just in case of a big storm. check the roots to see if their growing into the foundation or septic, If so, then I would have the trees removed. Other than that try to keep them, shade trees are a huge energy saving a property value importance in my area.

@Brian Gibbson A big thanks to you Brian. I will look into your links. Thanks for the info.

@Bill Gully, This last post I've read and I've read many of yours is probably one of the most informative and to the point, I've seen you post. I thank you for it. I liked the honest feedback without the doom and gloom of some of your other stuff I've read. Thanks again.

If I start a lemon aid stand and I don't know how to grow lemon trees or how plastic cups are made. Maybe I don't understand how sugar is grown, processed and how my water is purified and the exact locations it comes from, does that mean I'm not in the lemon aid stand business?

Its a high school in a small mid western town. :) I hate to think how bad big city schools are.

What if you put one of those pet safe wireless instant fencing systems and a pit bull in a dog house next to the shed. That would deter most people from coming back.

Teens, Teens, Teens, I see it every day at work. They are evil and like tearing up things just to laugh about it. Gee lets throw entire rolls of T.P in the commode, defecate on it then see if it flushes. Lets piss on the floor and see if some one will clean it up. Oh the horror stories, I could tell. As said though, it all boils down to parenting. Though I'm not too convinced there's much of that going on today.

I'm pretty sure, her post says, she has already read the beginners guide but for some reason ,some people just have to keep telling her to read it again.

These are the two request she has made, nothing else that I can tell.

I would like to learn more about buying performing notes with the help of a mentor. The mentorship

aspect is very important to me.

PPR and Donna Bauer are two of the companies/courses that I've seen mentioned on the blog.

Are there any others I should consider? I would really like to hear from people who have taken one of these courses.

A thank you, to those here who have helped in answering her questions. I also have use, for this information.

Flipping, wholesaling and being a landlord do not appeal to me right now. Researching properties and prospective mortgages seem much more exciting to me!

I'm with you on this one Suzie. It seems when you post things sometimes no one actually reads what you wrote and just wants to give advice. Strange. I'm currently looking into the note business also. I'm Interested in PPR and another guy named Scott Carson. I'm leaning towards Carson but like the idea that Van Horn actually gives you a note to work. I can't give any advice but I'm glad you posted and I will be following, in case someone actually has something to mention that's helpful to you, instead of regurgitating the same old stuff, ie.. listen to all the podcast. Really? listening to ALL the podcast will have little effect on you buying and selling notes. Could you learn something yes, but I doubt listening to Brandon spend a hour working through, him buying a quad and turns out to be a five plex and how he works the numbers for cash flow, for his profit margins, will in help you much towards your first deal. Listen to Podcast on Note buying, I would agree with. You can type note investing in the search bar on this site and it will give you some great stuff to read. Read who comments and you will see a couple guys just want to here themselves talk and sound important, unfortunately you have that in life and will have to sort it out. Good luck to you.

My uncle owns a Gas station here in IL. He informed me once, that Cigarettes were the number one Profit maker he had. Not positive, but I think I remember him saying, it was like 50% of his profits. He also said he made hardly any profits on the gasoline. I found that amazing.

Go to the Re-max website and look up a guy by the name of Rick Rhea. I use to do handyman work, for the PM Company he managed. Class act guy, always on top of things and made sure the job was done right. Couldn't tell you his charges but He had over twenty properties. A true professional. I haven't seen him in years. So I'm really only assuming he hasn't retired yet. Good luck in your search.
