As far as a good property Manager in Detroit I HIGHLY recommend IPMD (Investors property management Detroit) I used one prior that I thought was good and they were violating me on repairs and everything was a loss. The people who run the company are also investors and they are very friendly and good at what they do.

So, I recently started investing. I think it is a good market. But I can tell you now be diligent about screening your tenants. I have 3 doors and one door I will be evicting (after having paid for 6 months always on time) and the other slow and/or partial payment. You should do your due diligence in any market, but as my realtor and property managers advised-done rush tenant selection.

I am very curious about Airbnb's in the Harper Woods/Eastpointe area. Is anyone doing that in those areas? If not, anywhere near by?? Any experiences shared with Airbnb would be awesome!

So who is a good alternative to this company? Can anyone share other lenders?

@Maureen Nixon I really dont have any issues- I think maintenance etc could be a little cheaper. I would say my property manager is pretty responsive considering how many rentals he manages.

Has this worked out for anyone? I have been thinking of this market myself.

@Joshua Mayo keep me updated on the ease of pulling the cash off the cards and the associated fees. Also, how long are the cards no interest? I am pretty serious about fund and grow I am just nervous.
