I have been hosting a meet up in Carlsbad since last October. We meet the first Friday of every month. We tried Zoom meetings a couple of times, and took July off, but I'm hoping to find somewhere we can gather in person in August or September. I would love to attend if you host one, as well!

While we are not quite ready to gather again in person, we're not about to lose sight of our real estate goals. Hopefully by July we can meet somewhere in North County, but for June let's grab a drink or treat of choice, get somewhere comfortable at home, and log on to Zoom to share questions, strategies, and encouragement with other investors. It's been awhile since we've been together in person, and I think it's time to get together virtually. I'm going to be cohosting a Zoom meeting this Friday at 1:00 pm PST for a little Q &A with a special guest, real estate attorney Amanda Allen! My cohost is the amazing Nicole McGrath, who some of you know from previous meetings. 

There is obviously just a staggering amount of information and misinformation and wildly outlandish opinions circulating right now, so let's get together and share our experiences and thoughts.

How are you handling the unique challenges that we are all facing right now? Are you finding any opportunities or blessings that might be surprising? I'd love to hear about everything that's going on for you all, especially relating to real estate.

This post is a little late, but this event is happening again this week on the first Friday of March. We're meeting at Barrel Republic in Carlsbad, on State Street. We like the self serve beverages, and the food is pretty good, too.

Come on out and make some new friends who are real estate investors or interested in becoming investors. Bring some 2020 goals and some haves and wants to share; maybe you'll meet someone who can help you make them a reality!

Join us the first Friday of February to talk all things real estate and investing. There is no pitching or presentation at this event, just getting to know other investors and students of real estate in a casual setting. We'll be there at about 5:30 at the long the tables in the middle if possible.
