Welcome! You are at the right place. This website has so much to offer. Also only 19?!! Good job recognizing the opportunities that REI can do to help build wealth and financial freedom. I wish I had that self awareness when I was 19 but I none the less started the journey myself and even though it's been a short period of time, it's been so much fun. Good luck on your journey and enjoy the process! If you ever want advice or need anything, even tho I'm still a newbie, feel free to reach out. Have a great day!

Hey there fellow Minnesotan!  I would love to connect as I’m about to obtain my license as well as working towards purchasing my first rental property. Gotta love these beautiful sunshine spring days!

You are on the right track to recognize the debt is a major factor, specifically CC debt. I’m no expert but me personally I would get my finances in order. CC debt is nasty and the rates they charge can be brutal. I would try and consolidate those CC loans the best you can or also look at opening a separate account that has a 0% transfer rate for 12-18 months, transfer the debt and pay it off ASAP. Once you clean that up you can focus on buying investment properties and on your way to financial freedom!

I’m looking to invest in my first property and spoke with someone from Renttoretirement and it seems like a great service. Wondering if anyone has used them before and how it went?  Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome and what a journey you have had already. Skys the limit with RE. Find your niche. I’m still carving mine. I have found the more I read and gain knowledge the more clear my path comes to me. But then there are moments it circles back into another aspect of RE and I’m lost again. But continue the process and networking like you are. That’ll help spark ideas and thoughts that will guide you along. I’m also seeking clarity but for me the thirst of knowledge and gaining the insight is leading me down the path I know is for me. Faith followed by a burning desire for success will get us there!  Enjoy the ride!!  It’s going to be a good one.

@Paul Moore I ordered Brandon’s book and can’t wait to dive in. That’s how I came across this awesome website that has so many tools and networking options. The more knowledge and info I absorb the more determined and motivated I become. Have a great week!
