@Nathan Gesner thanks for the input. I’m still learning the benefits of this site and just checked that out and have some great resources in my are. I’ll make sure to get as much use as I can out of that feature!  Have a great week!

@Jonathan Greene very sound advice. As I continue to learn and read more, I am zoning in on my niche and what really motivates me as well as where my added value is. And I'll continue to network and meet with people to gain more confidence, knowledge and value. Hustle and hard work comes natural for me. Ive been doing mock deal analyses in order to get comfortable and find the great deals. Math comes natural to me and that's what REI boils down to. Thanks again and hope you have a great week!!

I’m a newbie starting a new career path into RE. I have never felt this type of passion or burning desire to succeed in my previous career. Im obsessed with learning as much as I can. I’m in the midst of getting my license and trying to network and build a solid team/foundation around me so I can hit the ground running. Seeking a mentor(s) to help me continue to learn as much as I can and offer any advice within the industry. This is not a desperate plea but one that is genuine and it’s something I’m very passionate about. The future is bright and I can’t wait to get going. Thanks for taking the time to read and hope you have a great week!!

It’s an exciting time and love al the information I am learning. I have started building a teams of experts around me to aid and guide me along. Not enough time in the day for it!!  It’s fun and exciting.

Hello everyone. My name is Jesse Thompson and I’m new to biggerpockets.com as well as real estate investing. My new journey started about a month ago when my wife passed her real estate license exam and became a realtor. I was very proud and it motivated me to become a better person. I am currently a retail store manager stuck in a dead end job. Been searching for some time for the next “big opportunity” only to be disappointed time and time again. I decided I needed some self growth and came across “The Compound Effect” which motivated me and then lead me to “Rich Dad Poor Dad” and it lite a fire inside me that I didn’t even know was there. I am now obsessed with educating myself on real estate investing/financial IQ and have since started my journey to obtain my real estate license as well. As a kid I grew up watching my uncle and grandpa build a very successful commercial real estate business only to see it fail in the end. That has motivated me even more to become successful, sustain the success and to obtain financial freedom and ultimately spend more time with my family. I came across this website last night after finishing “RDPD” and I have ordered “How to Invest in Real Estate” book and can’t wait to dive in. Looking forward to connecting and communicating with outstanding and already successful investors to gain more knowledge.
