also a farmers insurance agent. I feel the farmers policies are a great broad coverage but not needed for rental properties.  This extra coverage means more premium.  However, they do own a company called foremost which have much better rates and coverage then the farmers exchange policies.

i have found a property 3/2 single fam home that i am intrested in. i was wondering if there is anyone that has a check list of things to do to complete process. i know that i will need to get the home license/inspection for rental, insurance, create llc, and get tenant rental contract. i know i am missing some things so wondering if someone can link me to another post or a check list.

I am new to the area for red wing mn for the last 10 months. I moved from cloquet mn down here due to wifes new job promotion. i been learning the market area and getting a sense of the city. i work from a home office and want to move my time more to real estate investing instead of insurance.
