Post: Newbie meeting agent tomorrow

Hi all, just joined bigger pocket today and due to the inspiration provided from all the great posts I started looking at single family properties again. I’ve been interested in real estate and have been studying off and on the past couple years. After searching on Zillow I found an interesting property; a 2 bed, 1.5 bath for 38k in a rural area (would likely produce 7-8 hundred per month). It’s in great shape. According to the agent on our phone convo, the place was, in his words “a government backed repo and the bank just wants the pay-off.” We are meeting tomorrow. Any advice on questions to ask, things to look for etc? I didn’t intend to dive in like this but it appears to be a great first property.

@Steven Wilson

Great to hear. Thanks for the inspiration. Just made a move on my first potential property. Supposed to meet the agent tomorrow. Excited, nervous, and hoping it’s finally the one.
