Thanx Scot. I really appreciate that. I have become a member of one REIA and I plan on attending an upcoming meeting of another. I definitely want to be involved and am willing to give whatever I can.

Hmmm...I know quite a few brokers who are investors so it doesn't seem to be out of the question, but as the previous gentleman noted, it's probably a concern about liability for the brokerage.

Don't forget to check out local REIA's as they have folks who can be part of your power team as well.

Congrats Josh!!  Just got my license last month.  I have a couple of business associates speak well about Keller Williams although I have not experienced them myself and they have said the same as you did. I choose a different brokerage in Chicago because the owner is also an investor and is more than willing to answer any questions as well as help me with the broker side of business so it is a good 2 for 1 for me.
