Post: Raleigh Tax Accountant?

I'm in the market for a new tax accountant who is aware of real estate law in the Raleigh Area. Anyone have any recommendations?

I use Block & Associates and I've found them to have outstanding service. I'd be happy to send you contact info from someone at Block if you'd like.

"Peaks" in the Real Estate market over the last century have occurred in the following years:

'18  '29 '73  '80  '90  '08

With such a wide range of time between crashes, it is so hard to call. That being said, another crash will happen. My guess is somewhere around 2030 plus or minus 20 years ;-)

@Account Closed's suggestion of cutting off the waterline to the fridge altogether.

I'm in Garner, NC and I have a fridge that is leaking water. I had a repair guy go out there to 'fix' it twice, but was unable to do so. Apparently the waterline to the ice maker is freezing up, causing leakage and he could not figure out how to stop it.

These tenants have been a pain for me (long story short, I've already replaced this fridge twice) and I don't want to put another fridge in there.

Does anyone have a guy in Raleigh or Garner who can come check it out for me?

The fridge is a Kenmore "Coldspot" Model #106.72292201

@Account Closed No offense taken! I think it comes down to his business knowledge / education. He is a simple man - he doesn't use technology (email, wiring money, he hardly texts). I love using him (he has been an invaluable asset to me) and figured I'd connect him with other work to help him out.

Point of clarification here: I am not selling anything and would not directly benefit from passing on his contact info (in fact, you'd be competing with me for his timeshare!). Just trying make a positive contribution to this community and also help my handyman who is a great guy.

Edit: I also looked at your profile and see you are a licensed contractor -- my handyman could not likely do the level of work that you provide (major construction, additions, total makeovers, etc) and he is not licensed or have insurance; however, he can do all of the basic renovations one might need at a very low price (small fixes, painting, basic carpentry, etc).

I've got a great guy -- he'll do anything you need done, or know someone who can, his prices are always appropriate (I've never once had to negotiate with him), and he always goes above and beyond to get my places in tip-top shape (I can trust him to get a place in renting-shape without me pointing everything out). I am refer him and give him new business because he needs the work.

That being said, we have a good relationship, and I would rather discuss with you on the phone before handing out his information online. If you'd like, PM me with your phone number and I will give you a ring when I can to discuss.

Thanks for the great responses everyone.

I was hoping to get into a multi-family unit (quad specifically) for around $200-250k. I don't have one in mind, but I was trying to figure out how I might go about getting the funding to purchase one.

I have a lot of research left to do in regards to different ways to get funding (portfolio lenders and conventional loans, selling and refinancing, etc.) but this information has been very helpful.

Thanks again!
