I’m in Ontario Canada and I’m wanting to contact owners of multi family buildings that are not currently for sale. How do I go about to find out who the owner is to contact him.

@Blake Burnett long ago in my first 4 pled I had two guys I had rented to and within a week they got a dog. When I told my parents this my mother asked. What kind of dog. I told them a pit bull. Immediately my mother responded. They are selling drugs if they have a pit bull. It turned out to be true and I nearly lost my other three tenants. I got them out by refunding them the balance of the rent for their first month if they were out by a certain date. They did. That was the only way I was able to do it. Legally here in Ontario Canada you can’t kick somebody out for having a dog. However they have to pick up after the dog and not leave any poop on your lawn. I had another tenant who pulled the same stunt. Was given a dog just randomly the day after he moved in. He never picked up after dog. And I was on him repeatedly until he got tired of it and gave his notice.

@Darryl Zuber I’ve had thoughts of the same recently myself. Do you know if as a Canadian we can get a mortgage in the USA?
@Brian Dean I deal with desjardin and with a commercial account. Regular accounts they don’t want to touch it. TD has a commercial account you could try also but when I went to see them they had the same fees and higher rates for commercial so I figured best to stay where I was.

I'm looking at another multi family property.  Currently the landlord pays all the utilities.  Is there a way to switch that at time of purchase or the only way is to switch it is wait for tenant to move out and change it for the new one?  I'm in Ontario Canada in case that makes a difference for the rules / laws.

Thanks
