Hello,

I live in Metro Detroit.  This year I'm looking forward to making massive action towards accomplishing my real estate goals.  What are some good questions to ask a real estate agent when looking for duplex, triplex, and quadplex multi-family unit?

I am looking to flip a home this year. Are there any experienced flippers in the Metro Detroit area that can be an assistant of going through the steps. So that I can have a successful flip.  I am looking to fund the deal and split the proceed 50/50 at the end of the deal.

I live in metro Detroit.  I am looking to take action this year, and make significant move to accomplish my goals this year.  Does anyone know any real estate agents that works with investors.  I'm looking for buy and hold multi family units 4 or less units.

@Thomas Franklin, thank you for information.  The formulas, along with the other variables such as: closing costs, repairs, holdings costs, and other fees gives a realistic breakdown of potential cost and profitability for fixing and flipping deals.

Hey guys, I'm not a new member.  However, I'm reintroducing myself to this website and navigating through the site and all the functions.  Its been a while since I visited the site.  For the new year, I plan to try action and lock-in to achieve my goals in real estate.

The end of last year, I sold my first property.  Which was very exciting and motivating.  This year my goal is to flip 1 to 3 homes and find a niche in flipping houses.  Then, prepare myself to transition into buy and hold multi-family rentals.  I'm looking to start with 4 units or less to start; just want to get my feet wet.  (Just a little backstory of the property I sold).  The property I sold was my first rental property.  There were pros and a lot of cons, I admit I did not educate myself before renting, therefore, I got first hand experience of the do's and don'ts of the business, which was very informative and helped me understand the nature of the business from screening tenants, training tenants, creating systems, etc.  

Now, I'm prepared to take what I learned from my hands on experience and books I've read to make informed decisions and to put systems in place to scale my business and have success.

You're right the only way to accomplish any goals is working towards them.  Have you looked up those landlords meet up in the area? I think that may be a better way to get information and learn different strategies to accomplish goals. Good luck to you as well!
