Post: Court House Strategy

Court houses have been suggested to me as a way to obtain  lists for my direct mail campaign. What type of information can I get from the courthouse (ex. probate)?  Also when I go to the courthouse, what do I ask for in order to find the information I will need?

Thank you for your help!

As a new member of BP I recently discovered the BP Podcast I decided to start from the beginning and I really enjoyed episode 12 with Sharon Vornholt (side note to Josh Dorkin and Brandon Turner, I enjoy all of them!).  I like the idea of being persistent with direct mailings.  My question is what is the best number of direct mailings to send to someone and how frequently? I'm sure like every question in real estate the answer is "it depends" haha but if anyone could share what works best for them it would be a big help!

Thank you,

When doing direct mail to probates is it best to send the basic yellow letter (ex. I want to buy your house please call me) or is it better to tailor it a little bit more to the specific situation? If so what should I say differently in these letters to get a better response rate.

Thank you!

Hi everyone,

I am new to Bigger Pockets and Real Estate in general.  I am looking for best practices for developing direct mailing marketing lists.  What are some of the best methods you have used that you found to be the most effective for finding lists to send direct mail?

Thank you!
