Newbie wholesaler looking for other wholesalers in the Louisiana area to network with. Are there any other Louisiana people on here? Would like a bit more mentoring in the ways of wholesaling if there is anyone in La making money doing this.

"The only business in the world is the business of making money"

True but this implies that fabrications are at times a means to an end..well so much for ethics I guess..

PNW, first off I don't want properties for myself. Second, I don't think it's so much lying as it is exaggeration, I just fdeel they should be more upfront. I guess that's asking too much....and then people wonder why real estate gets a bad rap

Jon, i don't have time to devote to 1000's of leads...i'm trying to pursue a music career and use real estate as a supplement..the wholesaling thing is just a way to generate extra income..so i'm happy w/ 100 or so leads even though the most i ever got in a month when i was trying to actively wholesale was maybe 15. who are the NOLA people u refer to? i bet i know them

James, ok for starters here is my Craigslist ad:http://neworleans.craigslist.org/rts/545195583.html

I have also made contact w/ a lady by the name of Dana Dunton who used to be w/ our local REIA who said she'd look at the deals I send her, we could then partner and split the profits 50/50. I've sent her a couple FSBO'S but will have to call and follow up. Maybe my ad sucks? Also who are the people you know here? I bet i know them, if so, I guess those are the guys I should be asking for help. The only reason I haven't done fliers or the paper is b/c i already tried that, i just lost my job Friday(wholesaling for someone ironically) and money is tight. Any help would be appreciated, i must be doing something wrong somewhere...

James my name is Jorge and from what you're telling me, i can see where what you're doing is attainable, however living here and trying to go tat it on your own to do a deal here or there and then to need help, ask and not got any, no book or course can solve that..myself I think it's a Louisiana thing,i can promise you people here are way more lazier than in Ca where i'm sure the work ethic is much higher..no offense to any other La people on here btw....

flipper maybe where you're at 220/mth is doable but no one here is remotely close to that. also let's say above average wholesaler gets 100 leads /mth. of that 100, maybe 10 will accept the offer and of that 10 maybe 5 will close. if you're closing 220/mth, tha means you're taking roughly about 4400 leads a month..you must have help b/c Superman couldn't do that..do you have a partner? i'm sorry, i don't see it, unlless you have a marketing system from hell..if you can do that though, thar's great..
