Good afternoon, all!

My grandmother unfortunately passed recently and both my father and uncle told me that one of her last wishes was to give her home. She didn’t have this set in a will/trust, etc also the her home isn’t paid off (mortgage around $260/month)

I would love to be the owner and definitely update the home and keep it long term for other potential income strategies, etc. What are some things that mf family and I can do to make this become a reality?

The home currently has a 3 way ownership (my father and my 2 uncles) 33.3% for both my father and the middle brother however the youngest has 34% ownership. The youngest brother may want to take ownership of the home (not 100% sure what his motives are) but regardless what are some options we can take moving forward? I really appreciate all help in advance!

I'm going with an fha loan or conventional 97 loan. Yes, I can show proof of 2 years of employment as well.

Quick question, I'm currently going through the pre-approval process and I was told that it's required to be at a position for up to 6 months. I was just offered a new position and I'm on the fence to accept..would that interfere with the loan process? My current position I've been since August 2019. My credit is well above what is required, taxes documents are good etc..any thoughts on this?

I’m looking to buy my 1st rental property and wanted to know the best apps and other useful databases to stay on track of things, etc.

@John Warren thank you for the advice! I really think multi family properties will be key for me and definitely considering that when I pick the right lender. Thank you again

@Brittany R.

Thank you Brittany! I definitely wrote this down and will continue to work on this! Thank you!

@Evan Polaski

Thanks a ton Evan! I will start more on my due diligence! Thanks you so much again!

@Nathan G.

Thank you so much for the information! I’m happy you noted a lot of things for me to research! Thank you again for the information, very informative!

I'm looking at potential multi family properties and I'm going to do a FHA Loan. I know my credit score which is above what the minimum is required. How can I get potential rates without having my credit being pulled?

After all the research, reading and doing more due diligence, I know I’m now ready to take action! The property I’m looking at purchase is updated and has tenants occupied. Any advice far as taking over a property with current tenants?
