Pre-Approval Stage, accepting new job during the process.

Quick question, I'm currently going through the pre-approval process and I was told that it's required to be at a position for up to 6 months. I was just offered a new position and I'm on the fence to accept..would that interfere with the loan process? My current position I've been since August 2019. My credit is well above what is required, taxes documents are good etc..any thoughts on this?
