-contracts (assigning and double)
-what type of house to wholesale (pricing and offering)

Since you said the above I am assuming you know how to evaluate a property so go to step 2. - market and search for properties

Step 3. Make offers. You can't wholesale anything until you have deal to sell.

While you are making offers look for buyers or places to market to buyers. You don't have to have the buyers before you get the deal but you should start looking.
