Post: TENANT ISSUE: NEED ADVICE

So per my lease my tenants need to inform me of the intent to continue month-to-month tenancy with 60 days of lease term and within 30 days of lease term for termination. The property has 4 tenants (college students) and the lease ends on May 31st. Two of the tenants said they would move out per the lease. The other two sent me a text in March stating they needed a 1-month extension. Which I thought was the end of the story, but now they just informed me that they plan on moving out on May 31st as well. This puts me in a bad position, because I have not started marketing the property yet because my understanding was the last two tenants would be staying until the end of June. What are my options in this situation?

Hey all,

I am looking to refresh a bathroom for a property I plan on renting out in the next month or so. I have seen ads for Bathfitters and it seems to be a low-fuss option which is appealing. Curious if anyone has used Bathfitters before. If so, would love any insights and reviews folks can provide.

Hi all,

I will be obtaining a single family property in the north end of Bridgeport, CT come end of this year. I am currently researching property managers to help manage the property as I live about an hour away. Can anyone recommend a good property manager for a property in Bridgeport, CT?

Thanks,

Javier

Brian Pulaski Thanks for the note. Would love to connect more about Meriden as I am currently learning the market. How long have you been investing? Are there any trends you're seeing that are noteworthy?

@Kim Younkin I appreciate you sharing the market report. Looks like I am in an expansion region. Time to get to work.

Are there particular market conditions/indicators that are needed in order to successfully rent properties? Is it less dependent on the market conditions and more on the numbers of the deal?
