Rental property market conditions?

Are there particular market conditions/indicators that are needed in order to successfully rent properties? Is it less dependent on the market conditions and more on the numbers of the deal?

@Javier Sanchez, I just downloaded a good report today that you might want to check out. You absolutely must consider market conditions along with your deal numbers. Check out free download of IRR.com's "Viewpoint 2017 Multifamily Report": https://www.irr.com/research/?utm_source=ConnectMe...

If your market is in "hypersupply," might want to start looking elsewhere...

    Good luck!
