Really .. haven’t heard about flipping vacant lands. Are they within subdivisions or unrestricted lands?

Andrew, thanks for checking. We're in researching mode right now, there are several places on the same road that are doing boat/RV storage already, not sure if that'd be a good idea to jump in. Another good news I just got is that the City y has plan to widen the road which will eventually increase the value of the property.

How's everything going on your side?

Hello Agents/Brokers,

I live in Texas and would like to get involved more into Commercial Real Estate. What company/broker firm would you recommend to join?

Hey David,

I’m currently in the same situation and found your post here. Just curious to know what was your final decision on this deal?

I just recently got my conditional use permit approved so that was a big step. Now I’m starting on fulfilling the conditions to start construction. Financing is still an issue as well. I would suggest on doing your homework as to what your municipality requires as far as zoning and permitting. Being first time for me and doing it by myself I came across a lot of unexpected hurdles. However I am still moving forward and chipping away at it.

How's the process so far Matt? Very interesting to know and learn from you. My sister has a 3.1 acres located in New Caney TX, near Lake of Houston and Lake Conroe so I think it'll perfect for boat or RV storage, just don't know where to start.

The lot is 3.1 acres, corner lot, has electricity connection but no water line yet, it's a water well when she bought it. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

That saying I am willing to put in the work to make it work and far from lazy. Questions- Do you think a broker would hire an 18 year old without a degree? Do you have a real estate/business degree? Do you think you could have been where you are without the degree?

In my opinion, although college degree isn't necessary for a Real Estate Agent but I would recommend to take on business, finance and/or communication courses to give you a basic.
