Hey folks! I recently cam across the topic of a Press Release. From what I understand this will help drive traffic to your website. I am also currently working on some SEO topics. In the mean time I am considering doing a press release for our lead page.

I know I need a website for the press release. Can I submit a squeeze page for this? Should I just submit our regular website.

The issue I have with our regular website is the lead capture is not mandatory. In other words you can view this site without submitting ANY contact info. But at the same time I believe I need to drive traffic here (regular website) for SEO purposes.

All thoughts, suggestions, and experiences welcomed!

Thanks! Jason @Gary Haynes

@Lucas Machado Thanks Lucas! I started to go through the google analytics but it seemed very time consuming and pretty vague. I have the site and hosting already. I just do not know if I would be able to devote the time to it right now. Would it be logical to have a VA work on this?

If I did this myself how much time say per week or per day would I need to devote to this?

Hi folks! Wholesaler here form Louisville KY. I have been on Fiverr today consider buying a gig for SEO. I would like to drive more organic traffic to our lead generation(capture) page. I am not the most tech save person so I am very happy outsource this. Simply put we need more organic traffic and I don't have the knowledge to make this happen. Who have you used for SEO and  what kind of results did you get? Who gave you the best results for your money? I see gigs on Fiverr that range form $5 up to $25. I am not sure what the best investment would be.

Any and all advice/ recommendations are welcome!! Thanks!

Hi folks! Wholesaler here from Louisville KY. I am looking to polish up and enhance my negotiation skills. I am currently researching bestsellers for books on negotiation. What has been you favorite book for this topic? I was looking for negotiation books that are somewhat related to real estate if possible. Any and all recommendations are welcome!

Thanks!

Jason

@Allison B. Thanks for the encouragement! I am trying to complete the things suggested by those before me and that are successful. I do go to our local REIA meetings at times its difficult to get one on one time as most investors stay pretty busy. I do have one investor from the local REIA who does not mind at all when I call with questions. PVA is out local county assessor. Rental and Mentor are my next big items to tackle!

If I am sending post cards I use Click2mail.com. I have not outsourced any envelopes/ letters that we send yet. But I did invest in a great home office printer that prints the letters and the envelopes. Not outsourced but is very efficient for the volume we are at right now. Plus I have read you get a better response rate when it does not look like bulk mail and by doing them at home I can eliminate that appearance.

I know a lot of people are using YellowLetters.com for letters. I just have not found the presentation I prefer with any of the outsource letter/mail companies.

@Paul Amegatcher This is an avenue that interests me. Luckily our county assessor and clerk is online. If I understand this correctly it is marketing to people that are behind on their taxes? Would it be better to buy a list or utilize the local government info? Also, sellers that you target do you filter or consider equity? It sounds like targeting motivated sellers rather than tax lien investing?

@Jay Hinrichs well I never thought about like that which a great point. I have made money and still afloat. I certainly did not get rich this year. I don't have any rental yet so I'm sure that would help. I don't have a mentor yet either. So I'm still a work in progress. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. I do agree that I need more marketing outlets. What other marketing tactics work well for newbies?

@Paul Amegatcher  @Jay Hinrichs Currently we are working probate, select zip code absentee owners(most wanted close to retail).

We did a vacant house campaign but a lot of them came back. What I learned from this is to have a VA cross reference our local PVA to ensure we had the latest mailing address. A lot of the them had dated mailing address that were not current with what the PVA has on file.

Also at this point I believe I need to get into some Negotiation literature to improve my skills there. Most of the leads we did not put under contract because they were asking a price I was not comfortable presenting to my buyers.

I have finished my first full year in REI. At this point I also need to be cost effective with my marketing.
